The "ideal height" actually varies from person to person. Even if the height is the same, the way you see things can be completely different depending on the size and shape of your eyes. That's why a preoperative simulation is so important .
During the actual consultation, we use a bougie (a thin metal rod) to try out different heights to find the best fit for each individual.
Determine the appropriate double eyelid width

Aim for about 5 to 8 mm
The width of the double eyelid should not be too narrow or too wide. If it is too narrow, the eyelash line will be hidden by the sagging eyelid. On the other hand, if it is too wide, the area below the double eyelid line will be puffy and look unnatural. A natural double eyelid width that suits most people is about 5-8mm from the eyelash line at the center of the pupil. If it is more than 9-10mm , there is a risk that it will look like it has been plastic surgery or that the eyelids will become heavy.
The important thing is to find the width that best suits your eye shape and size. There is no need to be fooled by "trendy widths."
